If so, you’ll probably have the incredibly awkward ‘let’s go walk around halls trying to meet people’ experience. This will almost certainly end with your new flatmates talking to interesting, funny and/or fit people while you get stuck with the one who talks about her cat like it’s her boyfriend. Now, we’re all for mingling with your new peers and that, but MapChat lets you have a quick chat with the people around halls without having to leave the comfort of your bed. And trust us, if you’ve been out drinking and putting on pants seems like the biggest effort in the world, this is a good thing.
